They did it again, but this time there is no need for a class-action lawsuit! Apple has admitted that some devices have issues. It seems that last year’s iPhone X and a specific MacBook Pro model are now eligible for free repairs.
As they stated, “Apple has determined that some iPhone X displays may experience touch issues due to a component that might fail on the display module.” These touch issues include the display not responding to touches and sometimes reacting even though it was not touched.
But that’s not it. Apple is also offering free repairs for the 13 inch MacBook Pro (with touch bar). The issue is quite serious and users need to be careful. Apparently, a limited number of SSDs in MacBooks may result in data loss and failure of the drive. The company stated that the units were sold between June 2017 and 2018.
